There’s really no better time to fire up the projector with a good film, and the Mars 3 Air makes the whole process easy with its simple setup and automatically adjusting screen fit, keystone correction, autofocus, and obstacle avoidance. What does this all mean? You just point it at your blank wall and in a matter of seconds it focuses, shifts its picture to avoid that family photo and makes sure the image isn’t wonky at the corners.
It can project your films and shows as big as 150 inches, depending on how far away it is from the wall, and it does so in 1080p HD quality. In practice, this is going to feel a lot more like you’ve brought the cinema home than watching films on your TV does.
You also won’t have to fuss with a streaming stick. The Mars 3 Air comes with built-in Google TV with Netflix support, making it very easy to use as a standalone projector. And if you’re not close to the plug, you can rely on its built-in 2.5-hour battery life, which is just enough time to rewatch The Shawshank Redemption.
