My Bloody Valentine is back with a bang, bringing their unique 80s/90s sound to the UK for the first time in 10 years. The band has announced their long-awaited return to the UK with three headline shows this November, following the instantaneous sell-out success of their Dublin 3Arena concert.

The tour kicks off in Manchester on 24th November 2025 at Aviva Studios, followed by a show at London’s OVO Arena Wembley on 25th Novemberbefore concluding in Glasgow. The tour will celebrate the band’s entire career, spanning from 1983 until today, so fans can look forward to some of their best hits including Only Shallow, To Here Knows When and When you Sleep.

Like other iconic bands Velvet Underground, Sonic Youth, and The Jesus and Mary ChainMy Bloody Valentine redefine what noise means within the context of pop music. Led by guitarist Kevin Shields, the group started out as a doomy post-punk outfit, gradually adding more melody to their sound by the time of 1988’s ‘Isn’t Anything‘, an album that merged the ethereal approach of Cocteau Twins with crushingly loud, shimmering distortion – creating their own distinctive sound.

Though My Bloody Valentine’s notorious lack of movement onstage was branded “shoegazing” by the British music press, soon legions of other shoegazers – like Ride, Lush, the Boo Radleys, Chapterhouse, Slowdive – dominated late ’80s and early ’90s British indie along with the rolling dance-influenced Madchestra scene up in Manchester.

Not only is this London My Bloody Valentine show a rare opportunity to see these masters at work – with only three UK dates scheduled – but being held at OVO Wembley Arena, it’s sure to be an enormous, thrilling performance.

My Bloody Valentine 2025 UK tour dates:

  • Monday 24th November: Aviva Studios, Manchester
  • Tuesday 25th November: OVO Wembley Arena, London
  • Thursday 27th November: OVO Hydro, Glasgow

Tickets go on general sale Friday 4th April at 10am here.
