A mum-of-two who has lost more than three stone has credited the Simple weight loss app for her transformation. Priced at 60p per day, this app couples AI-powered coaching with a bespoke 28-day fitness challenge that has significantly curbed her snacking and boosted her physical activity.

Unlike competitor apps such as Noom or Fiit, Simple provides a comprehensive approach to health by merging diet advice with tailored exercise routines. It caters to all levels of fitness with personalised sessions, instructional videos, tracking features, and dietary pointers.

The app is now even more tempting to try, with its price slashed to £17.99, a drop from the standard £29.99 fee. App newcomers are lured in with a lovely 40% off when they commit to the inclusive health programme working out at a mere 60p each day.

As reported by Wales Online, starting off with Simple is a breeze; it all begins with an individual quiz that helps the app guide users on their fitness odyssey. One customer, Kim, has shed 45lbs, equating to over three stone, since getting started with Simple.

Kim shared: “My family has been my biggest motivation. I wanted to adopt a healthier lifestyle and set a good example for my children. I put on some weight during my pregnancies and was finally ready to do something about it. That’s when I came across Simple while browsing online and something about it resonated with me.

“I’ve always fluctuated with my weight and often skipped breakfast or lunch depending on my schedule. The app seemed like something I could easily incorporate into my routine that wouldn’t take up too much of my time. Simple has really helped me to be more mindful about my eating habits. It got me thinking in terms of not just what I’m eating, but when I’m eating and why I’m eating. Am I hungry or just bored? I enjoy knowing exactly when my eating window opens and closes and knowing that I can tweak this schedule from day to day to fit my needs.”

She also candidly shared the hurdles she faced: “An obstacle I encountered along my journey was getting more active. I’m a remote employee and spend a good portion of my day behind a desk. I decided to get a tracker that would record my movements so I could do a better job monitoring and make changes to my daily activity. Over time, it got easier to incorporate just one more activity into my schedule. I began to notice changes right away which was a real motivator for me. I had more energy and wasn’t snacking as much.

“Little by little, the weight started coming off. I’m six months in and I’ve lost a total of 45 lbs and counting. The AI coach AVO helps me by suggesting slight modifications to my meals that I can incorporate into the next time I prepare it. Little things like changing from white rice to brown rice, or white bread to wholegrain, are easy for me to incorporate into a busy schedule. If anyone is on the fence about trying the app, I encourage you to give it a try. It really was a game-changer for me and really simple to get started.”

Kim isn’t the only one who has seen a significant transformation in their physique thanks to Simple. Chris, a university chef, has so far shed 41lbs using the app.

He shared: “My goal is to get from 295 lbs down to 220 lbs. I’m currently halfway there, I’m down to 250 lbs. I would also like to lower my blood pressure, my cholesterol and my blood sugar.”

Chris discovered Simple while searching for a meal-tracking website. He explained: “I gave it a try because I really liked that it supported intermittent fasting which is something I tried in the past and had quite a bit of luck with. Some of the obstacles for my success has been that, as a cook, I work around food non-stop, so it’s hard not to think about food.

“My experience working with Simple’s AI assistant has been great. I love the recipes that it comes up with, but I also really like the feedback I get if I have a day where I eat too much of a certain food – it’ll help put it in perspective and help me learn. When it comes to weight loss, remember why you want to get healthy in the first place and stick with it. It’s definitely worth it and I recommend giving Simple a try.”

However, some subscribers have voiced concerns about issues encountered while attempting to cancel their subscriptions, with a few drawing attention to sporadic ‘glitches’ within the app. If you’re eager to jumpstart your journey to fitness, the Simple app might be up your alley with its current promotion of a 28-day workout challenge at a fetching 60% off for a short period.

For those not as comfortable with technology yet still determined to embrace a healthier way of living, subscription food boxes offer a convenient alternative. Hello Fresh drops off weekly boxes brimming with fresh ingredients accompanied by delicious recipes to try out, and Green Chef presents meal plans devised by dietary experts, tailored to fit a variety of eating habits.
