Motcombs, a well-known restaurant and bar in London’s Belgravia, was launched in 1982 by Brian Stein, who previously ran Scott’s Mayfair.
Motcombs, based in London’s Belgravia, is set to expand with the opening of its first new restaurant in over 40 years at a new location in St John’s Wood.
The new Motcombs restaurant in St John’s Wood is 3,000 sq ft and will open in early October. It can accommodate 80 people and a separate bar with eight bar stools. In addition, there will be a covered outdoor terrace with seating for 16 people.
The menus at the new Motcombs restaurant in St John’s Wood have been developed by Motcombs Belgravia head chef Veronica Pestana. Pestana also takes the lead in opening a new location.
Meals are served from breakfast to dinner, while the New York-style pizza selection is only available to St John’s Wood diners.
The restaurant has an artistic interior with paintings, a marble bar and two decorative chandeliers.
Ross Anderson, owner of Motcombs, said: “After more than 40 years in Belgravia, we are delighted to be opening our second restaurant in St John’s Wood. We hope to have another local favorite in our new North London location, offering the same warm and familiar charm.”
