Midnight at Pera Palace Season 2 brings back Hazal Kay and Selahattin Paşalı to lead the cast of the time-travel-filled Netflix series.
The Turkish historical drama series revolves around a young journalist named Esra who accidentally travels back in time to 1919 and stops a historic assassination attempt that could change Turkish history forever.
Midnight at Pera Palace Season 2 premiered on Netflix on September 12.

Hazal Kaya plays her two roles as Esra and Periden Midnight at Pera Palace season 2
Esra is a young journalist who unexpectedly travels back in time after researching details about Agatha Christie.
As a time traveler, he is interested in discovering the complexity of his actions. However, he later realizes the consequences of his actions as Turk’s fate is in his hands if he continues to mess with the timeline.
Meanwhile, Peride is Esra’s doppelgänger or relative in the past, whom he meets while traveling back in time.
It is revealed that Peride is meant to save Colonel Kemal Atatürk, but Esra and Ahmet are shocked to learn that she is already dead.

Tansu Biçer – Ahmet
Tansu Biçer brings Ahmet to life in the second season of the show. He is the manager of the Pera Palace Hotel in the current timeline, privy to the place’s time travel secrets.
Ahmet knows all the rules limited by time travel and follows Esra into the past to make sure he doesn’t screw things up.
In the second season, Ahmet and Esra work together to prevent a chaotic event that could endanger thousands of lives.

Güven Murat Akpınar – Mūmtaz
Güven Murat Akpınar plays Mūmtaz, a rogue time traveler who will stop at nothing to change the world. He steals the keys to the time gate from Halit to achieve his goal.

Nezaket Erden – Meliha
Nezaket Erden plays Meliha, a journalist who immediately becomes Esra’s rival in the second season.
When he eventually becomes Esra’s ally, he gives him important information about Turkish Civil Code 743 that could prevent someone’s death if they can piece together the clues that come with it.

Tülin Özen – Lili
Tülin Özen guest stars as Lili, a singer who performs at the Turquoise bar, where Esra and Ahmet visit in search of Layla.
She is also Ahmet’s future love interest, as his former self has not yet met him in 1941.
Özen acted Soon, Conscienceand White poppy.
Selahattin Pashali – Halit
Halit (played by Selahattin Paşalı) is the owner of the bar at the Hotel Pera Palace in 1919. He is considered the prime suspect in the murder of Esra and Ahmet Peride.
After a long and thorough investigation, it is revealed that Sonya (who is Peride’s real killer) describes him as revenge for leaving her with Peride.
In the end, however, Halit and Esra unite to rescue Colonel Kemal Atatürk, ultimately preserving Turkey’s history and saving it from a chaotic end.
Halit is also Ahmet’s father. In the second season, he unexpectedly arrives in present-day Turkey, surprising both Esra and Ahmet.
Paşal’s most famous roles are playing the main character OmerOsman in Love 101and into Haka Selection.
Erol Babaoğlu – Kadri
Kadri is a police commander and Halit’s friend, who unfoundedly suspects Ahmet is behind the Pera Palace hotel bombings. The character is played on screen by Erol Babaoğlu.
When Halit and Esra manage to free Ahmet, Kadri vows to find the real bomber to avenge the death of the two officers.
Turkish fans may recognize Babaoğlu from his roles Cadre, Apartmentand I’m sorry Leyla.
Nergis Öztürk – Eleni
Nergis Öztürk’s Eleni is the owner of a brothel that Esra and Ahmet visit to find out more about their ex’s mother.
Öztürk is known for his roles Small chicken breasts, Ticket office clerkand Bergen.
Jasmine Szawlowski – Sonya
Yasemin Szawlowski is part of the Season 2 Cast as Sonya, Halit’s wife and a former princess who moved to Turkey for a new start.
Sonya is also aware of Pera Palace’s time travel. He even knows the truth about the gate that allowed Halit to jump to the present.

Bilgesu Akin – The Best of Bilgesu Akin
Bilgesu Akin plays Leyla, Peride’s daughter and Esra’s sister, who works as a spy and shot the main culprit behind the bombings in episode 1.

Daniel Copeland – Alfred Hitchcock
Daniel Copeland makes a brief appearance as well-known film director Alfred Hitchcock. He can be seen checking in at Pera’s palace, where he tells a story about being attacked by a flock of birds “as if they were possessed”.
Ezra beats and pitches the idea that it could be a great premise for a movie. Of course he’s referring to Hitchcock’s 1963 classic, Birds.
Copeland’s significant merits include e.g Starstruck, Retreatand Afterlife.
Haydar Sahin – Selahattin
Haydar Sahin guest stars in Season 2 Episode 2 as Selahattin, Halit’s friend and a local newspaper photographer tasked with taking a picture of the British ambassador who has fled Sofia.
His photos help Halit and Esra to find out the identity of the hotel bomber.

Osman Albayrak – Mar
Osman Albayrak appears as Naim, a man who witnesses Leyla’s kidnapping but chooses to remain silent because he is afraid of Halit.
