The Manchester five-star Lowry Hotel has joined Millennium hotels and resorts (MHR) as part of the Leng collection.

The Lowry Hotel on the Irwell River has 165 rooms, a River restaurant and a bar, a spa and several events. The hotel owns the CDL Hospitality Trust.

The Leng collection is described as a ‘distinguishing portfolio’ within the millennium, and each property emphasizes ‘individuality’ by mixing modern luxury with the cultural authenticity and architectural nature.

Vicky Marshman, CEO of Lowry Hotel, said: “The joining of Millennium hotels and resorts as part of the Leng collection is an incredible opportunity for the Lowry hotel. With this partnership, we can continue to raise our mission to create genuine, inspirational moments for our guests while taking advantage of MHR’s expertise and global goal. We are enthusiastic about continuing to provide a warm, participatory and intuitive service that makes the Lowry hotel really iconic. “

Christophe Cialde, Vice -President, representative of operations and owner, Europe and United Kingdom, Millennium Hotels and Resorts, said: “The Lowry Hotel fully encapsulates what Leng’s collection represents: individuality, elegance and strong connection to its surroundings. Its reputation as Manchester’s favorite hotel and commitment to exceptional guest experiences make it a natural suitable portfolio. We are excited to welcome the Lowry Hotel MHR and we expect to support its continuous success. “

MHR owns, manages and maintains over 145 properties worldwide. Its portfolio contains brands such as Biltmore, Grand Millennium, Millennium, M Social, Studio M, M Hotel, Copthorne and Kingsgate.
