Mellors Catering Services has announced its latest culinary innovation -Tuko -Load for a mobile street food concept designed to revolutionize school lunch times in the North of England and Midland.

The school food provider invites the students to “prepare to start a taste of a packed trip around the world” as the Tuk-Tuori car arrives at schools by providing a unique blend of training, culture and delicious dishes.

The aim of this new initiative is to inspire students to find new flavors, to promote a positive connection to healthy eating and explore different cultures through food.

Danielle Watkins, Director of Nutrition and Food Development at Mellors, said: “Tuko Load is more than just a fun way to serve lunch – it is an invitation for young people to try something new, find flavors around the world and learn from different cultures in a delicious and interesting way.”

The menu highlights are Pan-Asian chicken bowls, fresh and Zesty Mexican tacos, soft Bao buns filled with pulled chicken and Greek-style gyro.

Tony Trainor, CEO of Mellors, added: “The Tuh Load is a real passion project and the perfect way to celebrate the 30th anniversary. It combines everything we defend -hardly thinking, fun experiences, and meaningful difference in lunch time. We are excited about the response so far.

“We always explore new innovative ways to grow a bar in school catering services and drive boundaries -to create fun, interesting and educational food experiences that encourage students to enjoy fresh, nutritious meals. The Tuk loading car is a great example of this, arousing interest in world cultures and food when you make meals memories.”
