on Netflix Vole, 12 perfect guests combine their talents and compete in challenges designed to advance the prize pool. However, there is one in their ranks who secretly tries to sabotage the other 11 players, leaving them to root out the backstabster.
Contestant Deanna Thompson stands out Vole‘s second-season cast as someone who seems to have little chance of being a saboteur, given his well-reported ability to sniff out wrongdoing. But not all viewers are convinced of his good intentions.

Deanna Thompson is a trade data analyst
Deanna Thompson, who lives in Las Vegas, Nevada, has been working as a data analyst at one of the casinos in the area.
Casinos have been using data analytics for some time to offer their customers the best possible experience and to help identify problem areas in day-to-day operations.
According to his official website baudimoova.org, he is primarily interested “The open source intelligence, analytics and science behind how people get caught doing really bad things.”
Deanna helped uncover the criminal
In 2010, a person named Luka Magnotta shared a video of himself deliberately suffocating two kittens in a twisted bid for Internet fame.
Shortly after the clip went viral, Deanna Thompson was on the case as she tried and succeeded in tracking down this animal cruelty perpetrator.
The effort involved several other people trying to bring Magnotta to justice, and Thompson (along with digital detective John Green) ran a Facebook group to accomplish just that.
In 2019, many years after the incident, Thompson appeared as himself in the aptly named Netflix true-crime docuseries. Don’t Mess With Cats: The Hunt for the Internet Killer. The documentary was a notable hit and ranked among the top five series in its genre on Netflix in 2019.
And in 2012, Luka Magnotta was convicted and imprisoned for an unrelated crime, the murder of an international student named John Lin.
Thompson spoke about his experiences helping to shed light on Magnotta’s crimes This morning in 2021, where he discussed what inspired him to get involved in the case:
“I was just sitting in my living room at the time, I think I was on Facebook, and I saw a video that someone had shared, and I watched it, thinking it was like a cute cat video… And it took a very dark turn, very quickly. And my blood boiled because I could tell this to the person who made the video that “I can handle this”… I just knew I had to address it immediately.
Deanna has her own podcast
Breakout after success Don’t fuck with catsThompson was able to connect his new acquaintance on a podcast with John Green, with whom he worked closely in the search for Luka Magnotta.
Perhaps fittingly the podcast itself, True Crimes with John and Deannatackles the true crime genre as Thompson and Green use their combined rubber shoe skills to investigate real-life wrongdoing.
The latest episode True Crimes with John and Deanna became available to listen in December 2023. Unfortunately, fans have yet to be told if the pod will return for new episodes.
Deanna got her nickname from the Beastie Boys song
Deanna Thompson was inspired by none other than the Beastie Boys for her well-known nickname and web handle Baudi Moovan.
The famous hip-hop trio released a single in 1998 called “Body Movin’,” from which the clever sobriquet “Baudi Moovan” was phonetically derived.
