Four upcoming Season 1 characters have already been leaked to Marvel Games Marvel’s Rivals.
Developed by NetEase Games, this super-powered free-to-play shooter gave audiences something they didn’t know they needed: an ongoing, ever-evolving multiplayer game centered around the iconic heroes and villains of Marvel Comics.
The game launched with 33 playable characters from the Marvel canon, but that’s just the beginning. Other big names have already started to leak, as the game’s roster is promised to develop like other hits, such as Overwatch and Appreciation.

According to recent reports, four new heroes will debut sometime Marvel’s Rivals season 1
Although other big names have started to leak (read about each Marvel’s Rivals leak), the game’s first content season is said to bring at least four brand new characters to the title’s Multiversal battlefield.
Below is a full breakdown of the four leaks Marvel’s Rivals Season 1 Heroes:
Thing
The Fantastic Four’s lovable piece of rock, The Thing, leaked several times, resulting in Marvel’s Rivals‘ Season 1 content drop. A recent promo for the game featured Ben Grimm and his super-powered teammate the Human Torch, seemingly hinting that both Fantastic Four members will be added soon.
Given The Thing’s overall size, many assume the character will be positioned as a Vanguard hero, serving as one of its valuable damage-absorbing tanks. Some of his leaked abilities include a rock-solid personal shield, a big punch to the ground, and a variety of punch-like punches.
The Human Torch
New advertising image for the item Marvel’s Rivals Johnny Storm (aka Human Torch) was also included, apparently indicating that the character is ready for release.
The Human Torch appeared in the ad as one of the game’s Duelist class characters, another way for players to deal damage to opposing teams. Fans can likely expect the Fantastic Four funnyman to arrive with various flame-based projectile abilities and perhaps Iron-Man-like flight.
Ultron
Dr. Hank Pym’s AI bug, Ultron, is also rumored to arrive at some point Marvel’s RivalsSeason 1. A full moveset for the character has been leaked, along with a prominent leaker focused on the game who said he’s coming in Season 1 (via Rivals Leaks).
Ultron belongs in the Strategist role, providing support to teammates like Rocket Raccoon, Mantis, and fan favorite Jeff the Land Shark (who just got a special limited-time game mode). His abilities include an energy beam, drones that can heal and damage, and flight.
Mr fantastic
Another member of the Fantastic Four who seems to be entering Marvel’s Rivals is Reed Richard/Mr. Fantastic. The iconic Marvel hero previously had a full talent show associated with him leaked online, meaning his release is likely imminent (via Caboose Shoes ).
His moveset relies almost exclusively on his flexible limbs, using them to strike enemies from afar, binding them in a vice-like grip and absorbing damage before releasing it in a specific direction.
One thing to note is that three of the four members of the Fantastic Four team have been leaked to the game, meaning it wouldn’t be at all surprising if Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman was on the way as well. This would make sense as he has also leaked but has limited online information.
Marvel’s Rivals is available for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
