However, during previous episodes, the couple made conflicting comments and gestures that suggested they were willing to give their marriage another chance. Clare told Cameron that she was sad about their marriage, and Cameron confessed to actress Brennan Shoykhet that she would also give their marriage a try if Clare wanted to try.
However, Cameron and Clare said no to any possibility of a relationship during the closing day. Despite the tense situation, Cameron and Clare parted ways amicably. Although it was suggested that the pair could have a surprise reconciliation on the final day, Cameron and Clare were never a good match for each other.
