If you’re well versed in Europe’s riveting art scene, then you might be familiar with this fantastic art gallery that’s officially on its way to the capital. Moco Museum is bringing its leading collection of modern and contemporary art to London, opening a brand new location in Marble Arch this summer, and it’s a doozy!

From Damien Hurst to Andy Warhol, Keith Harring to Marina Abramović, the Museum will present a rich tapestry of modern, contemporary, and digital art by genre-defining artists, spanning across the massive three-floor space in the heart of the city.

Their unmissable galleries in Amsterdam and Barcelona already attract over 1.5 million visitors annually, and although three may be unlucky for some, Moco is making the new museum in London their flagship locationbringing even more famous artworks by renowned artists to the city.

The permanent collection will feature works by Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, Damien Hirst, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, Marina Abramović, Takashi Murakami, Yayoi Kusamaand many more. This will stand alongside a temporary exhibition program and works of new and emerging artists worldwide.

Moco will also be commissioning exciting new artworks and collaborations exclusively for its London location, and we can’t wait to see who they choose from their star-studded roster of big-name artists.

As well as the exhibition spaces, the art museum will also feature site-specific installations, a Moco Store, and a Moco Cafeplanning to play host to a dazzling array of artsy events and things to do.

Providing an inclusive and inspiring space for visitors and artists alike, Moco is known for spotlighting underground culture through enthralling storytelling. Their carefully curated programme of events and exhibitions plans to reflect this, presenting itself as an inviting hub for art lovers, nestled at the end of the UK’s busiest high streets.

The founders of Moco Museum, Kim and Lionel Logchies, said in a statement: “London is a truly global city, which can be felt in the energy of its community of artists and creatives. London’s artistic scene sets it apart from anywhere else and we’re delighted Moco can be part of this movement.
