There’s no denying it any longer, Christmas is officially here. From magical train rides to checking out the most festive window displays, there is no shortage of activities in London to get in the mood. To make sure your weekend plans go as smoothly as possible and to ensure your Christmas spirit doesn’t diminish over something as trivial as a tube closure, we’ve listed all the disruptions you need to know about this weekend.

Metropolitan line

Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 December: There is no service between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Uxbridge due to track work.

Northern line

Friday 5 and Saturday 6 December: There is no Friday and Saturday Night Tube service between Charing Cross and Golders Green, High Barnet and Mill Hill East.

Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 December: There is no service between Archway and High Barnet/Mill Hill East all weekend.

Piccadilly line

Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 December: There is no service between Acton Town and Uxbridge due to track work.

London Overground
Mildmay line

Thursday 4 December: There is no westbound service from Camden Road to Willesden Junction after 23:45.

Thursday 4 and Friday 5 December: There is no southbound service from Willesden Junction to Shepherd’s Bush until 06:15 each morning.

Suffragette line

Sunday 7 December: There is no service between Barking and Barking Riverside. There is no service between South Tottenham and Barking Riverside until 12:45.

Elizabeth line

Saturday 6 December: The last train from Heathrow Terminal 5 (00:07) will terminate at Ealing Broadway.

Sunday 7 December: There is no service between Paddington and Ealing Broadway until 07:45. Trains will not stop at Woolwich until 10:00.

DLR

Sunday 7 December: There is no service between Tower Gateway and Shadwell due to third-party engineering works.
