Okay, that’s it.
We’ve seen enough rain this past week, and we want the nice weather back.
Our gardens have been well fed and watered and look much healthier for it, which is good.
But our sun-kissed skin is starting to deteriorate, and we need a few warmer days to put the smiles back on our faces.
Fortunately, we can expect to be sitting in the glorious London sun very soon.
According to the BBC, we could have a whopping five days of gloriously warm sunny days to look forward to over the weekend and beyond.
From Saturday (June 13) to Wednesday (June 17) each day is expected to reach highs of 23C or higher – with a “light breeze” to stop us really overheating.
Enjoy your time in the sun – but do it safely, as always. Sunscreen and social distancing go a long way.
Here’s when London is expected to bask in 23C+ temperatures for five consecutive days:
Saturday 13 June: highs of 24C, lows of 15C – sunny intervals and a gentle breeze
Sunday 14 June: highs of 23C, lows of 15C – sunny intervals and a gentle breeze
Monday 15 June: highs of 24C, lows of 15C – sunny intervals and a gentle breeze
Tuesday, June 16: highs of 24C, lows of 15C – sunny intervals and a gentle breeze
Wednesday 17 June: highs of 25C, lows of 15C – sunny intervals and a gentle breeze
