Peter Kay has cancelled his forthcoming tour alongside all future work commitments due to “unforseen family circumstances”.
The comedian, known for Pheonix Nights and Peter Kay’s Car Share, released a statement on Wednesday apologising to his fans.
In it, Kay expressed his “sincerest apologies”. He wrote: “This decision has not been taken lightly and I’m sure you’ll understand my family must always come first.”
