Another day, another shiny item to precariously shove into London’s bursting-at-the-seams trophy cabinet. And today’s accolade comes courtesy of the lovely lot over at the leading lifestyle publication, Muddy Stilettoswho have just revealed their annual ‘Best of the Best’ award winners.

Each and every year, their experienced judging panel scour every nook and cranny of the country in search of the very best independent businesses. Now in their 12th year, the prestigious awards aim to cheer on and champion the wonderful local spots across the the country that continue to make our lives a whole lot lovelier.

Across categories ranging from bars and beauty salons to florists and farm shops; a shortlist of regional winners was created earlier in the year. The shortlisted spots were then put in the running to be crowned the ‘Best of the Best’. And – you guessed it, folks – a gorgeous spot in London managed to get its hands on one of those oh-so coveted awards. So, get ready to listen to me (humbly) brag about it for the next few minutes.

Muddy Stiletto’s best hotel in the UK

London certainly isn’t short of sensational spots to have a snooze. But if you want the best of the best; there’s now officially only one direction to make a beeline in. And that, my friends, is towards Broadwick Soho. Nabbing the crown as the best hotel in the country, Broadwick Soho is an enticingly eclectic establishment in the heart of the capital, serving up gorgeous interiors and an equally gorgeous atmosphere.

Having opened its doors in 2023, the boutique hotel spans eight storeys, offering 57 beautiful bedrooms and suites. Known for its more-is-more approach to decor, Broadwick Soho is filled to the brim with clashing colours, bold prints, and eccentric design details. The unique aesthetic was created by world-renowned interior designer, Martin Brudnizkiand oozes playfulness – but in a grown-up way, you know?

Home to a delicious restaurant (Dear Jackie), an ever-so inviting bar (Bar Jackie), a ravishing rooftop bar (Flute), and an elusive residents-only lounge (The Nook); Broadwick Soho is a one stop shop for a stay in the capital city. And it’s certainly not hard to see why it now boasts this shiny new sought-after title.
