Lotus is her sixth studio album, coming as a follow-up to 2022’s highly acclaimed NO THANK YOUwhich was released just a year after her Mercury Prize-winning 2021 record Sometimes I Might Be Introvert. The record was due to be released on May 9, but Little Simz posted on social media earlier this week to confirm it would be pushed back to June 6 due to scheduling between the album’s release and a film project Little Simz is working on.
Metldown Festival takes place in June, with the first names announced including Lola Young, Ghetts, and The Streets. Little Simz will also play the closing show with Chineke! Orchestra.
