Little Door & Co., known for its house party-inspired late-night vibe, will unveil its fifth location on Kingly Street in June.

Expanding its presence in central London, The Little Violet Door is the group’s second venture in the heart of the city and complements its existing Soho establishment, The Little Scarlet Door. Adding in its vibrant neighborhoods – The Little Yellow Door in Notting Hill, The Little Blue Door in Fulham and The Little Orange Door in Clapham – the group is set to exceed 150 staff once the new site is launched. With this growth path, the company estimates that it will reach a turnover of 12 million pounds by the end of 2024.

Located within Shaftesbury Capital’s vibrant Soho area, the upcoming building measures 3,400 square feet and can accommodate up to 180 guests. In the historic premises at 9 Kingly Street, which once housed the iconic music venue Bag O’ Nails, where legends such as Jimi Hendrix, Elton John, Paul McCartney and Pete Townshend performed. The venue has two floors and a charming outdoor terrace. .

Behind the Doors Design has cleverly transformed a fictional West End flat into a vibrant reality, representing the quintessentially lively atmosphere synonymous with Little Door & Co’s ethos. Every corner of the space exudes the charm of a real home, complemented by eclectic soft furnishings, fascinating prints, inviting bookshelves and curated record collections. Paying homage to the cultural dynamism of 1960s Swinging London and the breathless fashion and music scenes of the 70s and 80s, the design incorporates nostalgic details that transport guests back in time.

Guests on the ground floor are welcomed to the casual living room next to the vinyl bar, which creates a setting for comfortable gatherings and relaxed conversations. The design that descends downstairs is tailored for an extremely smooth party experience. At the heart of the place is a kitchen disco, where DJs spin tunes and bring a lively house party atmosphere to the space from Wednesday to Saturday. Additional rooms on the lower level include a living room, laundry room and games room with retro video game consoles and a private cocktail bar, ensuring endless entertainment for all guests.

Inspired by the apartment’s extensive DVD collection, The Little Violet Door’s cocktail menu features inventive drinks served in unconventional vessels such as vases and goblets, with larger sharers presented in giant disco balls. A departure from its sister locations, The Little Violet Door opens its doors daily after noon, offering a selection of delicious shareable dishes such as tacos and mezze plates. In addition, guests can enjoy The Little Door & Co’s signature bottomless brunch every weekend, ensuring a delightful culinary experience seven days a week.
