International superstar Lionel Richie has announced a UK and European headline tour with Say Hello To The Hitswhich includes a huge London show at the O2 Arena. Known for his smooth vocals and timeless classics, the award-winning musician will embark on a series of electrifying performances, kicking off with five arena dates across the UK, before continuing into Europe for a summer of live shows.
Say Hello To The Hits kicks off at the SSE Arena in Belfast on May 31. Richie will then hit the stage for a string of UK tour dates, lighting up the OVO Hydro in Glasgow on June 4before gracing the stage at The O2 on June 6. Fans can also catch Lionel Richie at the Utilita Arena in Sheffield on June 8and Utilita Arena Birmingham on June 9before bringing the UK leg of the tour to a close at Co-op Live in Manchester on June 12.
The Say Hello To The Hits tour will see a new productionnever seen before in the UK and Europe. Lionel Richie, a Grammy Awards, Oscar, and Golden Globe-winning icon, has sold over 125 million records worldwide. As one of the most celebrated figures in music history, his career spans over four decades, producing unforgettable anthems like Hello, All Night Long, Say You Say Me, We Are The World, Easy, Endless Love and many more.
His triumphant ‘Legend’s Slot’ performance on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury 2015 drew the festival’s largest crowd of the year. Richie has served as a judge on ABC’s American Idolfor the past seven seasons, and has recently been renewed for its eighth season. Most recently, Richie debuted and served as co-producer on the documentary The Greatest Night in Popwhich premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival.
