A new look for David Lloyd in Raynes Park

If the pandemic has made you prioritise your health and wellness, there’s no better time to get started on your journey. David Lloyd Raynes Park has received a significant £8m makeover to firmly position it as one of the areas’ leading health, spa, and racquets clubs.

The centrepiece of the redevelopment is a new luxury Spa Retreat.  Set within the club, but a world away from anywhere, the Spa Retreat invites you to melt away your stress. Heat, cool and relax are the three guiding principles of our expertly designed ‘spa journey’, designed to boost overall wellness and help relax, unwind and escape. Seek sanctuary in our meditation room, soothe your muscles in our hydro pools, and unwind in the steam rooms. Your relaxation extends outdoors into our tranquil spa garden, featuring a sauna, relaxation pods and a dedicated Yoga and Meditation area. Best of all, the spa pool will be connected to the indoor spa pool, giving you the ability to swim in and out.

Together with the investment in the relaxation facilities, come improvements to the more active areas of the club, with the opening of a brand-new state-of-the-art gym. Located across two floors, this bright and airy space features cutting-edge equipment all selected to help you get the most from your gym session.

If you prefer group exercise, David Lloyd Clubs’ unique HIIT class BLAZE has come to the Raynes Park Club. Set in its own 30 station purpose-built studio BLAZE combines cardiovascular training with strength and combat skills to give a challenging workout.

And it doesn’t stop there, with the unveiling of three more brand new studios including a dedicated high impact space, a specialist Pilates studio and a group cycling hub. Across a week a huge variety of classes are available to participate in whatever it is you enjoy, from high-octane HIIT sessions and intense group cycling to the serenity of our yoga and Pilates based class SPIRIT.
