The annual week-long festival of picnic concerts – set in London’s stunning UNESCO World Heritage site Kew Gardens – has become one of the unmissable highlights of London’s summer music calendar, running from Monday 8 July to Sunday 14 July this year.
Acts taking to the stage in 2024 include An Evening in Conversation with Monty Don, Mika, Ronan Keating, Passenger, JLS, Beverley Knight and An Evening with Richard Ashcroft.
With the festival established in one of the most spectacular summer concert venues in the UK, the shows are expected to be a hit with all generations of music lovers.

Unlike many other festivals, visitors are also welcome to bring their own food and drink, blankets and folding chairs. They can also enjoy the outdoor bars and street food stalls.
Kew The Music is a collaboration between Kilimanjaro Live Ltd, RG Live, Senbla Ltd and the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.

An evening in conversation with Monty Don – Monday 8th July
Monty Don has been making television programs for more than 30 years, having been the main presenter of the BBC’s Gardener’s World since 2003.
After an exciting turnout in 2022, Monty now goes back on tour to share stories from his gardening career, describe his favorite gardens – both ancient and modern – and reveal how he fell in love with nature.
The audience will be able to discover how he created his beautiful garden at Longmeadow, the methods he considers the most useful and important, and the magical effect of the changing of the seasons.
Mika – Tuesday 9 July (limited availability)
Throughout his career, Mika has created a world of gritty romance amidst the joy and playfulness of techno-tinged alternative pop.
With his seminal single ‘Grace Kelly’ in 2007, he sold more than three million copies worldwide and was number one in the UK for five weeks. His debut album ‘Life in Cartoon Motion’ has had more than 2.8 billion total streams.
After this, Mika has released four more studio albums, conquered Europe with his music, created orchestral versions of his greatest hits and more.
In 2022, he was the international host of the Eurovision Song Contest, performing a dazzling medley for 161 million viewers worldwide.
Mika will be supported by special guests Sammy Rae & The Friends.
Ronan Keating – Wednesday 10 July
Ronan Keating rose to fame in the early ’90s with Boyzone, which – in its first five years – became one of the biggest pop bands of all time.
In August 2000, Ronan released his debut, self-titled album. It went straight to number one in the UK Albums Chart, with two number one singles, “When You Say Nothing At All” and “Life Is A Rollercoaster”.
Since then, Ronan has taken part in various hugely successful Boyzone reunions over the past 15 years, including a fitting end to the triumphant ‘Final Five’ sell-outs at the iconic London Palladium in October 2019. He has also released further solo albums and undertaken solo tours Worldwide.
Passengers – Thursday 11 July
Passenger is a multi-award-winning, platinum-selling singer-songwriter.
Although still known for his busking, he took the journey from street corners to arenas with “Let Her Go”, which reached number one in 19 countries and has now reached more than six billion streams globally, becoming the second most “Shazammede” song of all time.
Passenger has released 13 albums in 13 years, including eight that have reached the UK Top 40.
His latest release on 10 November 2023 is an anniversary remaster of his breakthrough album ‘All The Little Lights’, which features collaborations with the likes of Ed Sheeran and Foy Vance.
The passenger will be supported by special guest Gabrielle Aplin.
JLS – Friday 12 July
JLS released their debut album in 2009, which has since sold over a million copies in the UK alone, winning two BRIT Awards and five MOBO Awards.
Since their comeback in 2021, JLS – Aston Merrygold, JB Gill, Marvin Humes and Oritsé Williams – have performed to more than 350,000 people on tour, including on their 2023 ‘EVERYBODY SAY JLS: The Hits’ tour.
JLS released their latest album ‘2.0’ in 2021 and will bring hits from the record as well as huge singles like ‘Beat Again’, ‘Everybody in Love’ and ‘Love You More’ to Kew Gardens this summer.
JLS will be supported by special guest Tinchy Stryder.
Beverley Knight – Saturday 13th July
Beverley Knight is no stranger to the limelight – she is both a star of the West End stage and a stunning singer with a prolific music career, with huge hits such as ‘Shoulda Woulda Coulda’, ‘Come As You Are’, ‘Keep This Fire’ Burning ‘ and more.
Beverley was awarded an MBE in 2007 for services to British music and charity, has won three MOBO Awards, been nominated for Best Female at the Brit Awards three times, and after multiple nominations won her first Olivier Award last year.
Beverley marked the milestone of turning 50 in 2023 with her ninth studio album ‘The Fifth Chapter’, including five massive radio singles and her biggest ever UK tour.
She will be supported by special guests Asa and Marisha Wallace.
An Evening with Richard Ashcroft – Sunday 14th July
Richard Ashcroft is a two-time Ivor Novello winner who has released five top five solo albums, including the number one debut ‘Alone With Everybody’.
He first rose to fame with The Verve, with whom he released one of the biggest albums of the era in the form of ‘Urban Hymns’, as well as a string of anthems including ‘The Drugs Don’t Work’, ‘Bittersweet Symphony’, ‘Lucky Man ‘ and ‘Sonnet’.
His latest album, ‘Acoustic Hymns’, was released in 2022 and reached number two in the UK Albums Chart.
Richard Ashcroft will be supported by special guests Jamie Webster and Callum Beattie.
