Katy Perry’s American Idol replacement needs to tell the truth

Katy wants him American Idol instead of being someone who speaks his mind. He noted, “I want a truth teller” adding that she wants someone who isn’t afraid to tell the truth “in a general way.” Katy also hopes that someone will replace her “not reading comments” online. He explained, “Unfortunately, when you’re a woman and you have an opinion or you’re the boss, you’re also sometimes considered a BITC- (H)… just someone with a strong sense of self who listens to their intuition.”

Katy is right Jelly Roll was fantastic when he was a Guest Mentor and Judge during American Idol Hawaii week. She was a fierce cheerleader for the contestants, but also a gentle critic, helping them improve their performances to give them the best chance to advance to the next round of the competition. Katy also knows how to make the contestants feel supported and sometimes tell them the honest truth about their performances when they need to hear it. Jelly Roll was also very funny, funny and entertaining, so she filled Katy’s shoes well. He’s irreplaceable, but Jelly Roll might be the next best thing.

Katy’s comments about ignoring hateful social media comments are also very wise. Several powerful female singers, including Jennifer Lopez (who criticized the show during its FOX years), Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus have been mentioned as possibilities for Katy. American Idol instead, and all of them have withstood intense public scrutiny, just like Katy. It is important that the new judge has a thick skin so that he can make decisions and stick to them. Katya will be greatly missed American Idolbut hopefully his replacement will just keep the seat warm until he returns to the show in the future.

American Idol

American Idol is a reality singing competition that complements the international “Idol” brand, which was originally conceived in the UK as Pop Idol. American Idol held massive auditions across the United States and invited several contestants to appear in front of a panel of judges who decided whether they would advance to future rounds for a chance to compete in the show’s fully televised premiere. The contestants would be voted on weekly by the American people by voting through various media, and the winner of the contest would be awarded a record deal to secure a future as America’s next musical idol.
