“Karan Ghosh, Head Chef, Mama Shelter London Shoreditch”
Karan Ghosh has been named head chef at Mama Shelter London Shoreditch.
With over 15 years of industry experience, Ghosh has held notable positions such as Executive Chef at Skylight Bars, Executive Chef at El Pastor in Soho, London and Executive Chef at Thomas’s Café at Burberry in Regent’s Park, London.
Earlier in his career, Ghosh gained valuable experience working in prestigious establishments such as Crown Aspinalls, Metropolitan Hotel and Rhubarb at the Royal Albert Hall.
He said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be taking on this role at one of East London’s most vibrant and dynamic venues. The happy atmosphere and collaborative spirit is contagious as soon as you walk through the door. I’m thrilled to be leading the kitchen team and can’t wait to get on the ground.”

Mama Shelter London Shoreditch debuted in September 2019 following the RE Hotel London Shoreditch brand.
In 2014, AccorHotels acquired a 35% stake in the Parisian Mama Shelter business.
