Julie Hutchison has been appointed as a hotel manager for MacDonald Pittodrie House, located near Inverurie in Aberdeenshire.
He will play the role almost a year later in the MacDonald Norwood Hall in Aberdeen, Sister in the group.
Psychology graduate from St Andrews University, he brings over a decade of hospitality experience as he has played a role in well -known brands such as Hilton, Marriott and Old Course at St Andrews.
At MacDonald Pittodrie House, Hutchison monitors daily activities at 300 hectares of Garioch Chapel, focusing on improving the hotel’s expanding wedding company.
Julie said, “I’m excited to have the opportunity to lead the MacDonald Pittodrie House team and look forward to a positive change for our new and restorative guests, team members and our local community, which will eventually help the company achieve their goals.
“We have a very talented team in all areas of business, and I have been very impressed with their dedication after starting this role. We are now looking for a team for recruiting this year, designed to promote events, conferences and weddings supporting pipeline.”
He added: “The hotel has always had a strong reputation for hosting the wedding ceremonies of all sizes, and we are proud to provide brides and groom with high service and customer service they justify.”
Donald Macdonald and Gerry Smith were founded by MacDonald Hotels and Resorts in 1990.
The hotel group in Scotland currently has 28 hotels and 10 holiday destinations in the United Kingdom and Spain.
