Would it be Christmas without watching The Holiday? The festive classic was released in 2006 and the child stars from the film are now all grown up.

Miffy Englefield played the adorable on-screen daughter Sophie of Jude Law’s character Graham, who melted Amanda’s (Cameron Diaz) heart when she unexpectedly fell in love with the father of two. Now, 17 years after The Holiday was released, Miffy is a model and a world away from her film role.

The 24-year-old is now also a mother. According to her Instagram bio, the West Sussex star describes herself as “short, loud and mostly ridiculous. Hot mom. Always overdressed. All grown up.”

Miffy took to social media and shared a stunning photo of herself dressed head to toe in black. Dressed in silk underwear, stockings, leather jacket and patent platform shoes, the star makes sure all eyes are on her. Miffy combines the look with blunt black bangs and substantial tattoos on her arm and knee.

In September 2020, Miffy shared a selfie with her newborn daughter and a heartfelt caption about motherhood. She wrote: “I’ve been beating myself up recently about the fact that I’m never upset enough to feel like taking pictures of myself at the moment.

“My days are spent in old band shirts with bags under my eyes and crazy hair…definitely not my best look. But then I remembered that I don’t just exist when I’m at my best…

“I also exist with dodgy roots and no makeup and do mom things. I exist crying. I exist tired. I exist in many other forms that I don’t show on my Instagram because I don’t classify it as ‘my best’.”

In an interview with the New York Times, Miffy is also a singer-songwriter and revealed that Jude and Cameron spent a lot of time with her and her on-screen sister Emma Pritchard, who played Olivia.

She said the Hollywood stars even gave the girls denim jackets with their names embroidered on them after the movie ended. “They did all this time for these two little kids running around,” Miffy said.

Miffy added: “At school people were kind of funny about the fact that I used to be an actress, but I could go to these gigs and be around people who didn’t care.”
