Is Dannielle Merrifield a sneaky villain? (Why I think she may be worse than her husband)

Since their debut Looking for Sister Wife season 3, fans have been behind Dannielle Merrifield because she never got proper treatment from her husband Garrick Merrifield, but there is evidence that he could be worse than he is. Garrick seems to have chosen polygamy for selfish reasons, claiming God told him to do it, and it’s obvious the Colorado couple aren’t on the same page. Garrick and Dannielle have struggled to find common ground since entering into a plural marriage, with Garrick often ignoring his wife’s wishes and feelings.

He totally knows Dannielle’s jealousy issues, but she expects him to get over them. In seasons 3 and 4 Looking for Sister Wife, Merrifields dated Roberta Pache. Garrick often rubbed his romance with her in his wife’s face. Even though things fell apart with Roberta, Garrick hasn’t changed, even inside Looking for Sister Wife season 5. Lately, Dannielle has started to show cracks, showing her true colors of who she is. Dannielle has tried to act like she’s on board with her husband’s need for a sister wife, but she seems to be an afterthought.

Although Dannielle claimed to feel connected to her, she was also jealous of how close Garrick and Roberta became. Eventually, their relationship ended when the Merrifields tried to date another woman named Lea Newton before Roberta arrived in the United States.

In season 5 of Looking for Sister WifeThe Merrifields are dating a new woman named Nathalia. Reddit fans were quick to notice Dannielle could be smarter than she pretends to be. The Redditor noted that Dannielle was not only calculating, but also smarter than she presented herself. Fans said that Dannielle was not looking forward to having a sister wife in her marriage and only went along with the idea so that he could let Garrick think he had gotten what he wanted.

It was so hard for me to break up with Garrick, but I did it because I trusted that he loved me and that he cared about me and that he wouldn’t hurt me, and he did.”

She has a couple of strange, fluctuating feelings of jealousy and often pretends to be excited about her husband’s need for a sister wife, but in reality she is not thrilled with the idea. In one episode, Nathalia confronted Garrick after deleting dating apps after he had assured her that she would.
