Welcome to Plathville star Moriah Plath is still reeling from her heartbreaking breakup with Matthew Craven, and I think she chooses shady men because of her upbringing. Yes, everyone has their own type – dating other people can feel impossible. However, Moria must really try. The bad boys she hangs out with make it too difficult for her to enjoy her life. As soon as she starts to trust someone, whether it’s Max Kallschmidt or Matthew, he betrays her.

That’s what bad boys do, but Moriah may subconsciously choose men who hurt her because she’s used to being criticized as a child.

When parents don’t approve and unconditional love isn’t really a thing, a person can feel like they deserve the worst. They may not even realize that they are dating bad people just to repeat the psychodrama of their youth and hopefully get a different result. However, this may be exactly what Moriah is doing.

When she does, aspiring singer Moriah probably thinks she’s making a good choice. When it comes to romance, the human mind can play tricks on them. That’s why love is a mystery and an enigma. It’s not always so clear why we want certain people…or don’t.

Is attraction something we control or does it control us? That’s a good question and I’m not sure of the answer. However, I’m pretty sure that when it comes to who I like, I’m definitely not in the driver’s seat. My mind, with all its impressions, quirks and memories, pushes me towards someone. I don’t even know why. That might happen to Moriah, and that’s why he chooses people who end up being bad news.

Another theory is that Moriah is too focused on what these guys, including Welcome to PlathvilleHe’s Matt Craven, it seems. He should be more interested in other things. This is something he can change if he wants to. If he does, it could change everything.

How Matthew Craven Hurt Moriah

He lied to Him

Matthew treated Moria badly, according to her mother, Welcome to Plathville‘s Kim Plath, who is also a deeply flawed human being. According to Kim, Matthew who has a music career and has tattoos (fit the bad boy archetype to perfection), hid a secret relationship from Moriah. He was shocked when he found out the truth. Apparently he shares a child with another woman and Moriah was unaware of all this until the truth came out, causing great drama.

So he seemed to use Moriah for his influence. It’s something a bad boy would do – the typical shady guy is self-absorbed. He puts himself before his partners – yes, there are always more than one. Sometimes such a guy openly juggles women, confident that they will take what he from the dish – However, they may not know that they are being juggled. Moriah didn’t know, and since she found out, she’s been very depressed.

Kim and Barry Plath asked too much of their children

It was hard to follow the rules

Matthew drove Moria back to her father, Barry Plath, who gave her a soft spot to fall. He is always there to help her if she needs it. Without her father, Moria’s state of mind might be darker. However, Kim and Barry set the stage for Moriah to make poor choices with men by withholding affection until she followed their rules, some of which are explained TLC in the Facebook clip shown above. Plath’s children were banned from using social media. They could only enjoy:

  • controlled television
  • controlled internet

Moriah got used to working hard to get love. If he tried to be himself, he risked losing whatever warmth he managed to gain by playing it safe. It was a challenging upbringing for an adventurous person like Moriah who usually enjoys extreme situations. His looks are extreme considering how he was raised and his image simply expresses what is inside. However, he has tried to keep his softer qualities hidden.

Moriah’s vulnerability is real and he can get hurt. She covers up this romantic and sensitive side with wild lipstick, short shorts and colorful hair. However, her heartbreak in the latest season was something she couldn’t hide.

Trying to please the “unpleasant” is the essence of this type of meeting. Since they are playing a game, they can’t really fulfill their relationship. The bad boy is often a narcissist who doesn’t play with full deck emotionally. If one romance fails, they have many other options. They can sort of pick and choose their victims, and sometimes, even though women know exactly what they’re getting into, they continue to date bad boys.

Women can enjoy dangerousness, trust, unpredictability. However, over time, the bad boy’s evil deeds are as predictable as rain. It is easier to avoid them than to recover – change is possible. Women should look for better. Men who date bad girls should also set the bar higher – the partner should have some kind of respect for love. Otherwise, what’s the point?

All scams and excuses get old in time. There’s only so many times a man can hurt a woman before she breaks down mentally. Moriah was blinded, but before that she probably did a lot of things that made her shake her head. There were no doubt red flags that he chose to ignore. If Moriah starts looking for a different type of man, one who isn’t as flashy but has more substance, she might find that the switch was worth it.

Moriah needs a date with a decent person. They are there, and hopefully Welcome to Plathvillee the star has learned his lesson. Yes, he had two strikes, but life is long if we’re lucky, and his next romance might not be so rocky if he chooses carefully. While everyone encounters creeps at some point, there are ways to test the waters before diving in. Moria should research the men she’s interested in before she even gives them her number. He’s famous and that brings the dirtbags out of the woodwork.

The fans Welcome to Plathville can watch the series on the Discovery+ platform.
