Sister wives star Janelle Brown has been part of the family for over three decades, and I’m sure he’s held onto the criticism he has of Kody Brown and Robyn Brown’s parenting for years. Sister wives season 19 is just getting started and things have been slow for the Brown family as the season progresses. Janelle, who was Kody’s second wife, married into the family in the early 1990s after Kody’s first wife, Meri Brown. Although the extended family was small, things started to grow when Christine Brown entered the picture and the women started having children.

Although Sister wives has mostly looked at the extended family since Robyn joined in 2010, which has changed many plans for the future of the Brown family, things have changed in recent years. Kody’s marriage to Robyn in 2014 started a nearly decade-long domino effect that led to the end of the relationships he started his married life with. Kody’s marriage with Christine ended in Sister wives season 17, and after seeing Christine take the plunge and leave, Janelle and Meri felt more comfortable when they made their decision to leave the following year.

Although Janelle and Kody were together for over 30 years and had six children, their relationship didn’t work all the time. Sister wives season 18 The big fight that caused things to change for the couple stemmed from the way Kody treated his children With Janelle, most of whom were already adults. While Janelle tried to help bridge the communication gap, Kody was adamant that his sons had to come to him and apologize before their relationship could move forward. Janelle sees how Kody is aging his younger children, her criticism is not surprising.

Janelle and Robyn have never seen eye to eye on parenthood

kids“> Robyn isn’t fair to all the brown kids

When Robyn entered the Brown family, most of the children were at least school age, if not teenagers. Janelle’s children were between the ages of 6 and 16 at the time, and by the time Robyn and Kody got married, Logan was already grown and out of the house. Although Robyn came into the family with three children from her previous marriageshe wanted to be considered a mother to other brown children as well. Although some felt comfortable welcoming him Sister wivesothers do not.

Janelle and Robyn’s relationship has never been easy for either womanand Janelle in particular has struggled with Robyn as a person throughout the polygamy. Having monitored the family finances, Janelle struggled with Robyn’s behavior due to her low income and increased spending habits. She also didn’t like Robyn making it clear that her parenting style was something she wanted to continue with brown children who weren’t biologically hers, ignoring the way Janelle, Christine, and Meri had raised their children.

In a recent episode Sister wives in season 19, Janelle shared her feelings about Robyn and Kody’s parenting issues with their younger children. When Robyn joined the Brown family, she and Kody had two children together, Solomon Brown and Ariella Brown. Although the kids are currently 12 and 8 years old, they’ve been raised in chaos since they were young, and a lot of that is because of the way Kody and Robyn have set them up. Children’s expectations around their siblings and home life have led to unnecessary arguments and Janelle felt compelled to bring it up.

Janelle said she’s never been a fan like Robyn trying to raise her children when he wasn’t around, especially when he blatantly favored her children. Although it was clear to Robyn that she wanted to treat all the brown children as her own, she didn’t, which was difficult. Kody, on the other hand, was absent from most of his older children’s lives, but has been everywhere with the younger children in a way that hurt the older children’s feelings. It was clear to Jane that she doesn’t like the double standard.

Janelle has been holding Kody and Robyn back for years

He has tried to keep quiet

Although Janelle has been a part of the Brown family for yearsfor a reason, he has chosen to keep quiet about the problems he’s had with Robyn up until now. Although Janelle wasn’t a fan of Robyn, polygamy with her meant that instead of complaining, she wanted to keep the peace. The crumbling of Kody and Janelle’s relationship means she doesn’t have to keep quiet anymore, which is probably a relief for someone who is typically quite honest like Janelle.

Throughout Janelle’s time Sister wives and during the years of plural marriage she found herself at odds with her thoughts and the rest of her family. I’m sure Janelle has been holding back complaints about the way Robyn and Kody have been treating her children and their own for years. Although Sister wives star struggled with his own family while Kody was gone, I’m sure he was sad to see him become the father he never was to Robyn’s kids.
