Imagine you venture out to the poshest place in London, it will probably cost you a pretty penny. But Bryce was stunned when his experience ticked quite a lot of boxes
It’s no secret the most fanciest place in London won’t come cheap. Some of the most expensive postcodes could see you forking out a fortune on some food and drink.
Now one foodie recently ventured to Kensington Palace and couldn’t believe just how cheap his day out was. Content creator Bryce decided to visit London’s poshest venue for a Too Good To Go box and it left him pleasantly surprised. If you’ve eaten at Kensington Palace cafe before, you know it doesn’t come cheap but for Bryce, a box alone cost him just £4. So what was inside?
Speaking with his 46,000 TikTok followers, he said: “I have just picked up a Too Good To Go bag from one of the poshest places in London, Kensington Palace.
“Look at the scenery we have got around us, let’s go see what we’ve got inside this bag.
“I think this is probably the poshest Too Good To Go bag I’ve got so far, I mean it’s from a literal palace, this cost me £4. Let’s see what we’ve got inside.”
Opening his bag, he found 2 slices of chocolate cake which he described as “naughty”. Next up was a mezze-style salad which featured bulgur wheat, chickpea and harissa with falafel, chargrilled peppers, pickled carrot, cabbage, hummus and mixed leaf.
Bryce thought the salad was “very nice” but his stash didn’t end there. He continued: “And it looks like we’ve got one more item inside of here and that is a chicken and bacon Caesar salad sandwich.
“I love myself some Caesar salad and I love sandwiches so that basically combines both things I love into one. What do you guys reckon? Was this worth £4, I think the view alone is worth the money.”
As he concluded the video, Bryce then noticed a cute crown on top of the chocolate cake as he gushed: “I’m very happy right now.”
Since he shared the clip, it garnered 16,300 likes and dozens of comments. One said: “For £4 that is a steal.” Another added: “That sandwich is probably £4 alone.”
A third gushed: “You’ve won the jackpot there!” While a fourth commented: “That’s a good one, bet that salad was lush.”
Too Good To Go connects customers to restaurants and stores who have surplus unsold food. The scheme aims to reduce the amount of food waste across the world.
