In my quest to experience new things before the year is out, I finally tried a beloved British pastime: bottomless brunch. After scouring London for the best deals, I landed on what I believe is the best choice for value – Turtle Bay in Camden. And believe me, I’m glad I did!

For just £36.80 you get two hours of unlimited cocktails, beer, wine or fizz, plus a brunch dish. The menu keeps it simple with options like a “pancake bundle,” burger, or wrap, each with a vegetable choice.

I tried the roti bread stack with plant-based chicken, avocado and maple syrup. The mix of sweet and spicy Caribbean flavors was delicious, but I wish it came with fries to balance out the lighter part, as I had two hours and plenty of cocktails to enjoy!

There are plant-based versions of every brunch dish

The real highlight was the drinks – Turtle Bay offers a whopping 20 options, and every one I tried was perfect! The Lychee Daiquiri, Guava Breeze, and the Timeless Porn Star Martini were my personal favorites.

But here’s the insider tip: there’s a secret menu you can ask your server about, featuring stronger cocktails. Our server, Tanzy, recommended the “Pink Crush” – I don’t know what was in it, but I loved it!

Service was top notch, with refills arriving promptly even on a busy Saturday. Tanzy kept the drinks out so we could enjoy the full bottomless experience.

Although the cocktails weren’t particularly strong, Turtle Bay makes up for it with variety. You can switch between cocktails, beer and wine to keep things fresh for the full two hours.

If you’re looking for a lively brunch at great value, I’d recommend Turtle Bay Camden. And afterwards you’re right in the heart of Camden, where the good vibes continue on the streets.

Turtle Bay Camden Bottomless Brunch costs £36.80 per person. You can find it on10 Jamestown Rd, London NW1 7BY.
