It’s widely known that Too Good To Go bags are an excellent way to sample new food and drink while keeping expenses minimal. The initiative enables customers to purchase surplus, unsold items from local shops, restaurants and cafés to combat food waste.

Now one woman on a quest to discover a perfect 10 out of 10 bag decided to pop into her local Krispy Kreme store, where she nabbed some delicious treats. The doughnuts are often available at Tesco, where various packs offer Original Glazed, assorted rings and even smaller selections.

Speaking on TikTok, the foodie, known as Daisy, started: “I’m on a mission to find a 10/10 Too Good To Go bag and today we’ll be ranking one that I got from Krispy Kreme.

“This bag cost me £4.65 so let’s see if it was worth the price. I gotta say, we might just have a 10/10 box because look at this selection.

“Now we picked this box up on Sunday which meant that the store closed earlier and I think that’s why we got such a good box because we had more choice.”

Inside the box, Daisy discovered a chocolate sprinkles doughnut (£3.30), a Biscoff doughnut (£4), the cookies and cream doughnut (£3.90), the Original Glazed (£2.90) and two of her favourites – the chocolate dream doughnuts which cost approximately £3.30.

Altogether – after calculating the entire cost of all those doughnuts, it would normally set you back roughly £17.40. However, typically in London, you’re looking at spending anywhere between £12-£17 for a pack of six treats.

Daisy concluded: “Overall, I think I’m going to give this box a solid 9/10.

“It was so close to getting a 10, I feel like this is your perfect selection if you love chocolate and I’m definitely going to get another one of these boxes.”

Krispy Kreme doughnuts are widely available across numerous retailers, including Tesco and motorway service stations.

For those who’d rather stay at home, the treats can also be ordered directly through Krispy Kreme via Deliveroo or Uber Eats.

Since posting, Daisy’s video has amassed 30,100 likes and a host of comments. One follower queried: “Why are the doughnuts so expensive (individually)?” to which she quipped: “That’s London prices for you!”

Another remarked: “Looks solid for the money.” While a third enthused: “My dream box of Kristy Kreme.”
