Holidaymakers are beating Ryanair’s strict cabin bag rules with a backpack they say will “fit a week’s worth of clothes”. Many Brits heading off on their summer jaunts are picking up the Lossga ‘For Ryanair Cabin Bag’, which has been reduced to £16.89 on Amazon – 15 per cent off the usual £19.98 – and comes in a range of colors including black, beige, blue and purple.
The luggage measures 40x20x25cm – meeting the requirements of Ryanair’s latest hand luggage rules – to avoid nasty surprises during check-in. The budget airline states that passengers can carry a “small personal bag” that “must fit under the seat in front of you”, making this cabin bag the perfect buy.
In addition to Ryanair, the Loose Cabin Bag can also be taken on flights with EasyJet, Wizz Air and TUI. Amazon isn’t the only retailer offering customers Ryanair-safe luggage, as luxury luggage brand Antler has launched its sizzling summer sale with up to 40 per cent off carry-on bags.

This includes £42.50 off the best-selling Clifton Cabin Bag at £127.50, which can be used as a ‘large cabin bag’ for Ryanair and EasyJet at 20x40x55cm and is the perfect size for use as a cabin bag on Jet2 and TUI flights . The Lossga Cabin Bag has a front zip pocket and two side pockets so you can quickly access your items on the go.
It has several interior compartments and a separate “wet pocket” for wet towels or toiletries. The specially designed laptop pocket accommodates devices up to 14 inches along with enough practical space to ensure everything is packed, organized and tidy.
The Lossga luggage also has a hidden back zipped pocket so you can keep important documents, wallets or gadgets safe for peace of mind when travelling. Carrying the bag is comfortable thanks to its padded back panels and shoulder straps with an ergonomic design that helps distribute the weight evenly, reducing the strain if you carry it for long periods.
One happy shopper said: “Superb bag. I had great fun fitting a week’s worth of clothes in along with my various meds and essentials. Excellent bag, I took it as hand luggage only to Ireland. Fits well under the seat and also in the overhead compartment. Well done , plenty of pockets would recommend it.”
Another said: “Great bag for Ryanair. I’ve been looking for a suitable bag for Ryanair and this one is perfect. Lots of compartments. For me the separate laptop/tablet area is perfect plus the main compartment holds quite a lot .There are tabs on the side that you can use to ensure it doesn’t exceed Ryanair’s very specific requirements and the pocket on the side for a drinks bottle is another plus. The quality looks as good as any other backpack I’ve bought in the past so very happy. “
A third traveler said: “Initially skeptical due to the relatively low price, I was pleasantly surprised when the product arrived. The cabin bag is very well made and although small in dimensions, the bag provides plenty of storage capacity in several compartments, including a laptop compartment /tablet and a hidden security pocket on the back, perfect for storing passports, cash or important travel documents .Initially bought for a trip, it has now been used for overseas travel and is used as my daily work bag.”
But one less-impressed shopper said: “It’s a great bag for traveling with a laptop, but the strap on the back isn’t as long as I expected so it’s tricky to get it over the handle of the cabin bag.”
Lulu Guinness has also slashed the price of its luggage, including this Red Large Lips Spinner Case which is £98 off £227, down from £325. Although it is too large to function as hand luggage at 77x53x29 cm, it will certainly stand out on the baggage carousel and is ideal for those who like to pack heavy.
