Love Is Blind UK took the reality TV world by storm, and I’m convinced it was far better than anything else Love is blind iteration to date, US or otherwise. The couples who survived the fires were genuine, mature people with whom it was easy to empathize. The mere fact that six couples made it to the altar makes the US version pale in comparison. Sexual harassment and production errors galore, Love is blind in season 5, only two couples made it to their wedding day, and season 6 wasn’t much better.

Love Is Blind UK is more authentic

Love Is Blind UK felt more real from start to finish. The couples seemed genuinely suited for each other and, with the exception of Sam Klein, didn’t try to figure out what the person on the other side of the wall looked like in the pieces. In addition, Competitors respected each otherespecially when there were problems dating the same person. For example, Demi still treats Catherine with kindness even when she finds out that they are both dating Ollie. Freddie was also open to Catherine talking to Ollie on their honeymoon instead of getting jealous.

Because everyone seemed more authentic, the drama was much better Love Is Blind UK. Sam confronting Benaiah on the pod group outing, Nicole’s claim of wanting to sleep with him was shocking, and yet it seemed real and not made up by the producers. The drama between Maria and Tom about traditional gender roles was a more authentic conversation that nevertheless created intense drama.

Ollie and Demi’s communication issues mirrored those of a real couple rather than the disproportionate, explosive blow-up usually seen on reality TV. Finally, Catherine created enough drama of her own by telling Freddie not to “pet him like a dog“, an awkward moment that still unfortunately seemed genuine.

Love Is Blind UK did a Better Job in Casting

Overall, in my opinion Love Is Blind UK was better in the end because the producers didn’t screw up the casting. Tran Dong, Cast Member Love is blind season 5, is still on trial for sexual assault by her ex-fiancé. Also, Renee Poche, second Love is blind actress in season 5, her storyline was cut after she was forced to stay with her abusive ex-fiancé Carter Wall. While Chelsea Blackwell’s rejection of Trevor Sova was shocking at the time, it turns out he had a girlfriend at home.

Love Is Blind UKThe cast was friendly and dynamic without any weird issues like the US actors. Sabrina and Steven broke up after their wedding day, but Bobby & Jasmine and Benaiah & Nicole are happier than ever. The Love is blind A US cast could learn a thing or two from British singles.
