Whether you want to channel your inner punk or add a timeless addition to your wardrobe, we have good news. Dr Martens, the instantly recognisable footwear brand worn by everyone from grunge icon Kurt Cobain to superstar Rihanna, is currently offering up to 40% off a wide range of stylish boots and shoes.

And if that wasn’t enough, you could also snag an additional 10% off. To grab the extra discount, you have to enter the code GIVE ME 10 at checkout.

There are many smart unisex fits available, but we’ve narrowed down our top picks to the Pascal Suede Lace-Up Boots (£95 from £159) and the Tarik Ulitity Boots (£65 from £129). It doesn’t look like they’re in stock elsewhere, and this is the cheapest price we’ve seen for both, so this is an ace opportunity to pick up a pair for under £100.

Dr Martens hails the Pascal boots as the boots with ‘no breaking-in required’, saving you the (literal) pain of achy ankles and blisters. Featuring the brand’s signature yellow stitching and an eyelet lace-up design, they’re versatile enough to be dressed up or down; pair them with a floral dress and a red lip for a grungy look or with a plain white T-shirt and jeans for a classic vibe.

The Tarik Ulitity Boots are a modern twist on the classic Doc silhouette, designed for both style and comfort thanks to reinforced eyelets and robust laces. However, there aren’t heaps of sizes available, so we suggest being quick if you’re tempted, as they’ll likely sell out.

PASCAL SUEDE LACE UP BOOTS

Both designs have garnered many positive reviews online, with one shopper calling the Tarik shoes’ gorgeous, comfortable, and attention-grabbing’. ‘Doc Martens often need time for breaking in (time well-committed), but these didn’t; they were comfortable from the first wear, which was a full day of walking around,’ they said.

Meanwhile, the Pascals have earned praise for their ‘comfortable’ fit. One review said: ‘My first pair of Dr Martins and won’t be my last. I wore them the first time whilst working a 12-hour shift (and they were) the most comfortable boots ever. I took a spare pair of boots just in case but didn’t need to change them.’

However, some shoppers have complained about the Tarik’s feeling heavy. Some people have also noted that the Pascals run big, so it’s worth noting if you’re concerned about sizing.

The Pascal Suede Lace-Up Boots are available to shop here, or try the Tarik Ulitity Boots here — although, as mentioned, they’re selling out fast, so be quick if you’re tempted. Otherwise, you can shop the full Dr Marten’s sale here.

Admittedly, though, Dr Marten’s boots are still pricey, even with the discount — although you’re paying for the quality and longevity. However, for more affordable alternatives, New Look has lots of chic styles, including this £39.99 pair of biker boots and these £29.99 suede iterations. These Off The Hooks high ankle leather boots, available at ASOS for £51.99, are also worth a look.
