STRICTLY is bringing a much-needed dose of glitz and glamour to our screens each weekend.
But if you’re jetting off, fear not: here’s how to watch Strictly Come Dancing abroad.
Strictly Come Dancing is hotting up after the first celeb was booted out of the competition in week two
Last weekend saw Olympic gold medalist, Tom Dean, whisper three heartbreaking words to pro partner Nadiya Bychkova as he failed to win over the judges in the dance-off.
Some eagle-eyed Strictly fans have already spotted a new show feud after noticing tension between two pro dancers.
The show officially kicked off on Saturday 21 September, so if you missed the launch show or first week, you can catch up on BBC iPlayer.
But fans heading abroad will run into issues streaming the show on-demand as like many other platforms, BBC iPlayer is only available in the UK and is geo-restricted.
However, there’s an easy and fab-u-lous way to get around this: download a VPN such as ExpressVPN or NordVPN.
We will explain below how to watch Strictly outside the UK and keep you dancing through 2023.
How to watch Strictly Come Dancing abroad
You’ll first need to download a vpn, such as ExpressVPN or NordVPN onto the device you’ll be streaming iPlayer from.
Then, load the VPN and select a UK server, which will (legally) reroute your IP address to the UK.
You’ll then be able to head to iPlayer and stream Strictly Come Dancing with no trouble.
Is Strictly Come Dancing live on iPlayer?
Yes! As long as you have yourself set up with a VPN you’ll be able to stream Strictly live on BBC iPlayer, but remember, you will need to be a licence-payer to watch any UK TV from abroad.
