DING Dong! The biggest nuptial reality show on UK TV has made a glorious return.

Not sure how to stream it outside of the UK? Fear not: here’s how to watch Married At First Sight abroad.

Highs, lows, rows, reunions: MAFS has been thrilling audiences with its whirlwind romances ever since it first aired on UK screens in 2015.

Now, it’s back for a new series: the latest season premiered on E4 on Monday 16th September 2024, and airs Monday-Thursday 9pm.

Just a week in, we’re still getting to grips with the incoming stars, as groom Kieran melted fans’ hearts with a sweet compliment, and bride Sacha makes a bizarre comment about her dream man.

Head to our MAFS UK 2042 line-up for the full roster of brides and grooms.

But for anyone heading overseas, you’re going to run into some issues streaming the show on-demand.

That’s because the Channel 4 streaming platform is geo-locked, meaning channels like E4 aren’t available outside the UK.

However there’s an easy way around this: download a VPN such as ExpressVPN or NordVPN.

We’ll talk you through watching MAFS outside the UK without a hitch (ba-dum) in the following section.

How to watch Married At First Sight abroad

VPNs are downloadable tools that can be used to route your internet activity through a server that isn’t your IP address.

This simply means you can (legally) suggest that you’re accessing the Channel 4 streaming platform from the UK, when you aren’t.

Firstly, download a vpn like ExpressVPN or NordVPN to the device you use for streaming content.

Then, load the VPN app and select a UK server.

Head to the Channel 4 website, and search for Married At First Sight. Press play, sit back, and enjoy the nuptials!

Like we say, this process is totally legal – but we always remind readers that if you want to watch any live UK TV outside the UK, you need be a licence-payer.

Can I watch Married At First Sight overseas?

Yes – provided you set yourself up with a VPN to get around what’s called the ‘geo-locked’ nature of Channel 4’s content.

Like all British channels, Channel 4’s content is only available to stream inside the UK – you’ll find the same with BBC iPlayer and ITVX.

But by loading a VPN a selecting a UK-based server, you can access these platforms as if you’re actually still on home soil – cool, right?
