DANCING ON ICE is back for its sixteenth season and kicked off on ITV with some major changes.

Heading abroad soon? Read on to find out how to watch Dancing On Ice 2024 outside the UK.

It’s that time of year again: the bleak winter evenings have been given a welcome dose of sparkle with a fresh roster of celebs competing on the ice.

Last Sunday (Jan 14th) saw the return of Dancing on Ice with Holly Willoughby making her triumphant return to TV alongside new host Stephen Mulhern.

It comes after the presenter spent 101 days away from the spotlight after former co-host Philip Schofield’s fall from grace and an alleged kidnap plot left her shaken.

But the new duo is already proving a hit as contestant Ricky Hatton ‘punches’ new Dancing On Ice host Stephen Mulhern live on air in hilarious scenes.

The launch show also saw the first round of celebs paired up with a pro skater, but Claire Sweeney is on tenterhooks for this weekend as she suffers a nasty fall in rehearsals.

Episodes can watched live on the ITVX, but if you’re leaving the UK soon, you’re going to struggle to access the streaming service as its content is blocked overseas.

Don’t worry though, we know a way you can skate around this issue and catch all the latest live episodes of Dancing On Ice while you’re outside the UK.

How to watch Dancing On Ice 2024 outside the UK

The simplest way to watch Dancing On Ice is by purchasing a VPN.

VPNs – ‘virtual private networks’ – are downloadable online apps that essentially suggest you’re using a UK-based IP address (which is completely legal).

Follow these instructions, and you should be set up nicely for watching the Dancing On Ice 2024 on ITVX outside the UK:

  1. Download a vpn like ExpressVPN or NordVPN to whatever device you use for streaming TV.
  2. On that device, load the VPN and select a UK-based server.
  3. Head to ITVX, and search for Dancing On Ice.
  4. Press play… and enjoy!

ITVX is where you can watch both live and catch-up episodes of Dancing On Ice.

However, keep in mind if you watch any live UK television while you’re overseas, you need to have a valid UK TV license.
