Netflix’s animated series from Avatar: The Last Airbender creator Aaron Ehasz has been running since 2018. It has six seasons and tells the story of characters like Callum, Rayla and Ezra (read more The Dragon Prince throw).
The latest Book (or season) debuted on July 26, continuing the series’ epic conflict between humans, dragons and elves.
How old are the Dragon Prince characters?
Callum
Set The Dragon PrinceThe main character is the teenager Callum. When the series begins, Callum is 14 and five sixths, just an aspiring human mage who sets out to bring peace to the world after thousands of years of war.
Recently, the character has been as young as 16, as Season 4 takes place in a two-year time jump. This older version of Callum has continued his journey to destroy the evil Aaravos. He recently discovered a connection to the prophecy known as “The Chosen Two” with his fellow traveler Rayla.
Rayla
Rayla is the perky elf fans have come to know and love everywhere The Dragon Princesix seasons. Throughout seasons 1-3, Rayla is 15 years old and joins the team as the youngest member of a former group of assassins sworn to protect the inner region of the universe known as Xadia.
After the fourth season skip, Rayla is 17 years old, furthering her relationship with her companions Callum and Ezran in their quest for peace. Season 6 revealed Rayla’s connection to Callum through the “Chosen Two” prophecy, when the two teenagers finally confessed their love for each other.
Ezra’s
One of the youngest members of the core Dragon Prince Starring is the sympathetic royal Ezran. In seasons 1-3, Ezran is 10 years old and joins Team Zyn as Callum’s younger half-brother.
In seasons 4–6–12, he has aged a bit as he becomes more aware of the severity of the conflict he is embroiled in.
Viruses
Viren is one of the few characters The Dragon Prince whose age is not specified. He is described simply by name “fatherly”. He appears to be middle-aged throughout the series and works alongside the fatherly King Harrow as one of his closest advisors and practitioners of dark magic.
If Viren’s character were to be numbered, you’d probably guess he’s in his 30s or 40s, judging by his grown-up appearance and no significant signs of aging like wrinkles or gray hair.
Claudia
While some of her other dark magic-wielding factions have seen the light, Claudia has yet to renounce her evil ways. When the show starts, Claudia is the same age as the others The Dragon Princewith the teenage cast turning 16 in season 1.
He is then 18 years old in season 4, which makes him slightly older than the heroes the series has focused on opposite.
Soren
When Soren debuted The Dragon Prince, he is 18 years old. He works under his father Viren to help capture the dragon prince Azymondias and continue the millennia old war.
In later seasons, Soren is in his 20s and has a change of heart. He joins Callum, Rayla and the rest of Team Zyn to take on his father and his nefarious schemes.
Amaya
Amaya is another character whose age is not specified The Dragon Prince my canon. He is described as “aunty” clearly grown up, but nowhere near the age of the series’ older characters.
He is assumed to be in his 20s or 30s when the series begins, as he looks significantly younger than some of the other older characters. He still carries a more youthful energy than other adult actors.
