The dark history is revisited with the actors who create the most important moments of the Second World War on Netflix. Hitler and the Nazis: Evil on Trial.

Directed by Joe Berlinger (lost paradise, Ted Bundy tapes), Hitler and the Nazis: Evil on Trial highlights Adolf Hitler’s rise to power and the Nuremberg trials from the perspective of journalist William L. Shirer, who has written The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich.

The six-episode documentary series used artificial intelligence to give way to Shirer’s narration. It also includes cinematic depictions of what happened during Hitler’s terrifying reign.

Hitler and the Nazis: Evil on Trial premieres on Netflix June 5.
