There are signs of that Welcome to Plathville star Moriah Plath is not returning for season 7, and her boyfriend Matthew Craven may be to blame. Moriah made his first appearance Welcome to Plathville season 1 when he was only 16 years old. The now 22-year-old is Plath’s second-oldest daughter and fourth-oldest Plath child. Viewers have watched Moriah forge her own identity over the years, and she is arguably the most rebellious and alternative member of the Plath family. Despite their differences, Moriah is close with all of her family members.

Welcome to Plathville premiered in 2019 and Welcome to Plathville season 6 ended in early October 2024. In season 6, Moriah revealed that she had just recovered from a devastating heartbreak and that she was moving from her own apartment in Tampa, Florida, back to her father Barry Plath’s in Cairo, Georgia. As the season progressed, Moriah’s family framed her ex, who after the season was identified as Tampa-based musician Matthew Craven. his mistreatment of Moriah, toxic relationship traits, and involvement with another woman with whom he fathered a child when he was with Moria.

Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows you can stream or watch right now.

Moriah has been criticized by viewers

& He is sensitive

during Welcome to Plathville in the season 6 finale, Moriah said that she and Matthew got back together and that everything that happened made sense and that they saw each other again. She left her family to hang out with Matthew in his car and her family came looking for her after finding out she returned with Matthew.

Moriah has proven to be a sensitive individual, pouring her heart out through song and talking about her vulnerabilities in interviews and with her family.

Moriah has been chastised online for her relationship with Matthew. And if they’re still together, he probably doesn’t want to face future heat in the public eye by doing another season where he has to explain a troubled relationship. One Reddit thread created by u/bethgrace96 opened the viewer up to thoughts of Moriah’s boyfriend and her move to get back with him.

“Well, Moriah can’t sing either, so her interaction with this dude is precious. She got all this attention this past season, now she’s fed up and running back so she can cry ‘poor me’ again and get a story.”

Other Redditors called Matthew a “joke” and a “influencer” and they criticized Moria’s poor judgment. Would Moriah have appeared in the second season Welcome to Plathville, he would be under severe net fever.

Moriah doesn’t want to be judged for her relationship with Matthew Craven

It was portrayed poorly in the Show

TLC personality Moriah likely knows how bad her relationship was for viewers throughout the season, and it can only get worse if the pitfalls of his relationship are brought up. Moria must weigh the benefits of continuing the program against the heavy setback she will face in continuing her relationship with Matthew.

Moriah could get used to sharing the good, the bad and the ugly of her personal life, but
Welcome to Plathville
fans and her own family against her relationship may be the reason for Moriah.

Moriah can focus on her music career

He can get to know different ways of advertising

If Moriah takes a step back Welcome to Plathvillehe can focus on his music career, which has not taken off as a result of the show. Moriah can ask for more strategies to help his music spread though her relationship with Matthew wouldn’t be central if she did a second season. Moriah is serious about her music career, and that could be her main focus when she’s not on the show.

Welcome to Plathville Needs Moriah On The Show

But Matthew might not let him show up

While Moriah might not entertain a second season with her relationship with Matthew under scrutiny, Welcome to Plathville needs Moriah for the show. Moriah has had heavy storylines every season, and with her constant and reconnecting with Matthew having high entertainment value, Season 7 would need to make her and her story more interesting. However, Matthew is painted as the dominant partner who has historically tried to isolate Moria.

However, Matthew can tell Moriah that he can’t continue the show, especially since he’s gotten a very negative rap. If Moriah has ended things with Matthew, she may be free to remain a part of the hit show, but only time will tell if that’s the case. Welcome to Plathville Season 7 hasn’t been confirmed yet, but the show’s popularity indicates that it’s likely to happen, and Moria needs to be a part of it for the show to survive.

Welcome to Plathville is a reality television series that follows the life of the Plath family. The family is a strongly conservative family of nine children, who, although they share some of their values, have begun to miss and cling to their own independence. As the family tries to hold on to their old world values, primarily separate from the rest of the country, they take into account their children’s new beliefs and bump into new family members from their spouses.
