Hertfordshiren Grove named Anna Darnell as CEO

Anna Darnell has been promoted to Grove as CEO of Hertfordshire.

Previously, as the head of the resort, Anna Darnell is now leading strategy, operations and revenue management on 300 hectares. His responsibilities cover several departments, including in front of the house, security, housekeeping and golf.

Darnell started his career in Grove in 2005 as a corporate golf coordinator and has since held several key tasks, including the income of the Golf and Resort’s Free Director, Surveillance Spout, Activities and Free time.

In his new role, Darnell is supported by the Senior Management Team consisting of Danielle Michaels, HR Director, Andy Watson, financial director, culinary leader Maarten Geschwindt and Marketing Director Lucy Chase-Gardener. The whole team reports to Bernard Murphy, CEO of the Ralph’s Believers Group.

Grove, with Clarendon’s Earls residence, now offers 214 guest rooms, luxurious Sequoia Spa, Championship Golf Course, Kitchen Garden and Selection of restaurants.
