
The full line-up for a celebrity series of the much-loved and gripping television series The Traitors has allegedly been revealed. Studio Lambert, the production company behind the hit BBC television show, announced in August 2024 that it would be introducing a nine-part celebrity version to the UK for the first time, though we’re yet to know who will star in the series. This came alongside confirming a fourth series of The Traitors.
Mike Cotton, Creative Director Unscripted at Studio Lambert and Executive Producer for The Traitorssaid: “We are thrilled to be inviting some celebrities into our castle to come and play the game. Seeing famous faces navigate the round table or don the infamous green cloaks will be unmissable TV, and what a double treat for the fans with Series 4 also confirmed too. There’s a whole lot of exciting treachery and deception yet to come from the Highlands… Claudia’s going to have to pack some extra knitwear.”
Season three of The Traitors on BBC One is the most watched to date with a season average of 10.3m viewersbecoming the biggest show in the UK’s unscripted market since 2022.

But just who exactly will be starring in the celebrity version of The Traitors? Famous names have been floating around and now a line-up of stars who fancy four weeks of strategy, deceit and backstabbing, has allegedly been revealed, with the official list being reported by The Mirror.
Charlotte Church
Charlotte Church is a Welsh singer-songwriter, actress, and television presenter, best known for album Voice of an Angel. She also hosted her own television programme The Charlotte Church Show and has a wellness retreat called The Dreaming.
Bob Mortimer
Bob Mortimer is a Middlesbrough-born comedian who has appeared on shows such as Would I Lie to You? and Taskmasterbut most recently Last One Laughing on Amazon Prime. He has also written a number of books, including The Satsuma Complex and The Avocado Hotel.
Kate Garraway
Kate Garraway has been a TV and radio presenter since appearing on ITV in the 1990s. Many will recognise her as a host on BBC’s Good Morning Britain.
Alan Carr
Alan Carr is a comedian and is a judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK. He has also starred alongside Amanda Holden on a house renovation reality show, Amanda and Alan’s Italian Job and Amanda and Alan’s Spanish Job.
Jonathan Ross
Jonathan Ross is best known for his chat show Friday Night with Jonathan Ross followed by The Jonathan Ross Showinterviewing an array of famous faces. He is also a judge on the musical competition show The Masked Singer.
Joe Marler
Joe Marler is a rugby player, who retired from the England squad last year and played as a prop for Premiership Rugby club Harlequins. During his rugby career, he has racked up 95 international caps.
Stephen Fry
Sir Stephen Fry is an actor, broadcaster, comedian, director, narrator and writer, best known for hosting QI and starring in The Hobbit, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows and Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland. He also narrated audiobooks such as The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Paddington Bearthe Harry Potter series, and his own novel, Mythos.
Nick Mohammed
Leeds-born comedian and actor Nick Mohammed is best known for starring in television programmes Ted Lasso, Taskmaster and Renegade Nell. He has also portrayed his character Mr. Swallow across both stage and television for over a decade.

Adding to the list of comedians on the celebrity version of The Traitors is Joe Wilkinson. He most recently starred alongside fellow contestant Bob Mortimer in comedy show Last One Laughing.
Clare Balding
Clare Balding is a broadcast journalist who presents for BBC Sport and Channel 4 and has also been a jockey, competing in various equestrian disciplines like eventing, show jumping, and dressage.
Lucy Beaumont
Lucy Beaumont is a comedian from Hull and has appeared on comedy programmes such as Would I Lie To You?, Taskmaster and Have I Got News For You.
Paloma Faith

When will the celebrity series of The Traitors air?
A date is yet to be confirmedbut the series is predicted to be aired later this year. The fourth season of The Traitors is likely to air in January 2026, based on previous air dates.
