Corporation Policy Chairman, Chris Hayward, said:
“Thank you to everyone who took the time to share their views during this important consultation, which is now closed.
“Hampstead Heath holds a special place in the hearts of so many, and we deeply value the passion and care people have shown for its bathing ponds.
“The feedback we’ve received will now be independently analysed, and a full report will be published in due course.
“These responses are a vital part of the decision-making process and will be considered alongside our legal and regulatory duties, equality impacts, safeguarding responsibilities, and practical enforcement needs.
“The current arrangements will remain in place until Members of the relevant City Corporation’s committees have reviewed the findings and made a final decision about the ponds’ future access policies.”
