On Saturday 10th February, Hampstead Court celebrated Chinese New Year in style with residents, loved ones and members of the local community gathering in the spacious lounge areas. The talented culinary team prepared an array of authentic Chinese dishes for all tastes, all washed down with fragrant jasmine tea.
Residents and guests enjoyed a Chinese New Year themed quiz, formed impromptu teams and engaged in fierce but friendly competition while learning more about the festivities. Witnessing new friendships and connections blossoming among residents and visitors was heartwarming. The highlight of the day was entertainment from the Chinese lion performers, who captivated everyone with their show, from the young to the young at heart.
Staff and residents look forward to celebrating National Floral Design Day on February 28, recognizing the art, history and significance of floral designs. Green-fingered residents of Hampstead Court enjoy tending to the home’s gardens and patios, and this attractive outdoor space provides the perfect setting for hosting events during the warmer months of spring and summer.
