The visit to the Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre to see Starlight Express was described as a “dream come true” for Judy, a resident of Magnolia Court in Hampstead.

The surprise outing was made possible by Louise Ramage, customer relationship manager at Brampton View Care Home, who contacted Magnolia Court after realising she had extra tickets for the show.

Wayne Hughes, senior general manager at Magnolia Court Care Home, said: “We are incredibly grateful to Louise for thinking of us. Her kindness and generosity made a dream come true for Judy. It’s heart-warming to see the care community supporting one another to create such wonderful experiences for residents.”

Judy, who attended the performance with support from care home staff, said she was left speechless by the music and spectacle and described it as “absolutely wonderful”.

Magnolia Court is run by Barchester Healthcare and provides residential, nursing and dementia care for 60 residents.
