It’s the most talked about musical of the last 10 years, and getting a space to see it has proved a challenge for a long time. Thankfully, it’s all a little bit easier now – and you can catch the spectacle that Hamilton is here in London for another year, as it’s just been announced to stick around until September 27, 2025.

Since it began on Broadway back in 2015, Lin-Manuel Miranda’s production of Hamilton has been one of the most sought-after tickets, and was quickly brought to the West End in the Jeffrey Seller and Cameron Makckintosh-produced version that we see today. At the end of this newly-announced extension, it will mark eight years of the musical at the West End.

Hamilton tells the story of US Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, who was an immigrant from the West Indies, and his key involvement during the American Revolution. The production of Hamilton is based on Ron Chernow’s 2004 biography of Alexander Hamilton, and used a stunning blend of Hip Hop, R&B, Pop, Soul, and traditional-style show tune music to make it the unique spectacle that has drawn people in over the last nine years around the world.

Viewers of this guise of Hamilton will be treated to book, music, and lyrics by its creator Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Thomas Kail will direct with the choreography Andy Blankenbuehler.

Starring Alex Sawyer as Alexander Hamilton, Jay Perry as Aaron Burr, Nathania Ong as Eliza Hamilton, Emily-Mae as Angelica Schuyler, Simbi Akande as Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds, Thomas Vernal as George Washington, and many more, it’s a run that should not be missed while it’s still on in London

‘Hamilton’ is running at The Victoria Palace Theatre until September 27, 2025, and you can get your tickets here.
