Sofia Vergara turns crime boss alongside Netflix’s gritty cast Griselda.
The exciting new series is based on the rise and fall of real-life cocaine dealer Griselda Blanco.
Griselda premieres on Netflix on January 25.

Sofia Vergara brings Griselda Blanco to life in a limited series.
Blanco is a Colombian drug kingpin who rose prominently in the underbelly of Miami since the 1970s. She has several nicknames such as Black Widow and Cocaine Godmother.
The series presents how a ruthless and tenacious criminal rose to power, his evil plots and many contradictions.
Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Vergara stated that it was “a very interesting character:”
“We didn’t want to romanticize him or make him a hero, because he wasn’t. But no matter what anyone said, this was a very interesting character.”

Alberto Guerra – Darío Sepúlveda
Darío Sepúlveda (Alberto Guerra) is Griselda Blanco’s third husband, whom she married in 1978.
They have a son named Michael Corleone Blanco. Together, they settled in Miami in 1978, which led to Griselda taking over the city’s underbelly.

Alberto Ammann joins Griseldastarring Alberto Bravo.
Bravo is Griselda’s second husband, who helped her establish her cocaine cartel in America. In Episode 1, Griselda killed Bravo after they had a disagreement over their growing business.

Christian Tappan – Arturo Mesa
Arturo Mesa is Griselda’s accountant and close friend. The character is played on screen by Christian Tappan.
Mesa is one of the pillars of Griselda’s cocaine business before being killed by her other rival, Rafa Salazar.

Diego Trujillo – German Panesso
Diego Trujillo joins the cast Griselda such as the German Panesso.
Panesso is Griselda’s new business partner from Miami, who later betrays her when the police swoop in to derail one of their transactions.

Paulina Dávila – Isabel
Isabel (played by Paulina Dávila) is Griselda’s friend in Miami who helps her with a new cocaine drug deal in town by bringing in a bunch of sex workers.

Gabriel Sloyer – Raul Diaz
Gabriel Sloyer plays Raul Diaz, one of the detectives tasked with taking down Griselda and her drug trade in Miami.
He is the head of a drug enforcement agency called CENTAC and is also responsible for recruiting June Hawkins to the team.

Juliana Aidén Martinez – June Hawkins
Juliana Aidén Martinez portrays June Hawkins, an intelligence analyst for the Miami Police Department who works with Raul Diaz in the investigation and capture of Griselda Blanco.
Working in a group of men is quite a challenge for Hawkins, but she works hard to prove that she can be as formidable and ruthless as Griselda.

José Zúñiga – Amilcar
José Zúñigan Amilcar is one of Griselda’s rival drug dealers who gives her a hard time.
Episode 1 highlights how Griselda became Amilcar’s new supplier, but this new deal is short-lived when he betrays her by blacklisting her for drug trafficking.
Zúñiga played Mr. Molina in the game Twilight. The actor also performed Alive, Nextand The Dark Tower.
Karol G – Carla
The newcomer in Griselda’s life story is Karol G Carla. The character was created for the Netflix show.
As a former sex worker, Carla eventually becomes one of Griselda’s loyal allies as she joins the ranks of the few people she can trust.

Julieth Restrepo – Marta Ochoa
Marta Ochoa (played by Julieth Restrepo) is the girlfriend of Rafa Salazar and the sister of the Ochoa brothers, the heads of the Medellin cocaine smuggling cartel.

Maximiliano Hernández – Papo Mejia
Maximiliano Hernandez joins the cast as Papo Mejia.
Mejia is Amilcar’s original reporter and also the one who initially tries to stop Griselda’s drug-related activities in Episode 2.
MCU fans may recognize Hernández from his portrayal of SHIELD (Hydra) agent Jasper Sitwell in the Infinity Saga. The actor also has accolades Sicario, Warrior, and Seal team.
Camilo Jiménez Varón – Rafa Salazar
Rafa Salazar is one of Griselda’s long-time rivals who works under the Ochoa family’s drug business, Colombia’s largest supplier of cocaine.
Rafa and Griselda have various confrontations throughout the season, with the former even killing the latter’s accountant to prove he’s not crazy.

Martin Fajardo – Ozzy
Martin Fajardo is the part GriseldaAs Ozzy.
Ozzy Orlando Pineda, also known as Osvaldo, is Griselda’s youngest son, who was killed in a nightclub.
Fajardo is a rising star who appeared in Every now and then, bunk bed, and A truly haunted loud house.
Orlando Pineda – Dixon
Dixon is Griselda’s eldest son who is loyal to his mother. Orlando Pineda plays the character.
Dixon is tragically killed by one of Griselda’s enemies while walking to his car.
