Greggs and Fenwick have opened a brand new Greggs Champagne Bar at Fenwick Newcastle. The design of Greggs Champagne Bar in Fenwick is a tribute to the famous Belle Epoque era, a period of French history characterized by beauty and joy.

The space has been designed to feel decadent, reflecting stylized art nouveau details throughout. Greggs Champagne Bar in Fenwick will seat 16 customers around a curved bar, synonymous with 20th century Paris, as guests sip from bespoke champagne coupes with sausage rolls. Guests can also ring vintage, crystal clocks to top up.

Over 1,600 bookings and 4,100 covers have already been reserved since bookings opened last week.

For the first time, champagne enthusiasts can pair their pastries and rolls with a selection of champagnes served by the glass or bottle, including Bollinger Rosé and Laurent Perrier with Louis Roederer Cristal available for £75 per glass, or £425 per bottle.

For a sweet finish, there’s also a range of signature cocktails inspired by Gregg’s sweets. Diners can enjoy a “Yum Yum Twist,” a sweet, sugar-glazed cocktail made with rum and real Yum Yums, a “Cream Éclair” containing vanilla vodka and dark chocolate liqueur, and a non-alcoholic “Peach Melba” cocktail.

Bookings for the experience until Tuesday 31 December can be made here. The experience will be open between 11:30 a.m. until the store closes on a reservation basis.
