Hop aboard one of these lively Thames boat parties, setting sail throughout the year.

A cruise on the River Thames doesn’t mean having to quietly obverse the bank-side attractions in subdued fashion. Oh, no. If you opt for one of the boat parties below, you’ll see lovely city-centre views while listening to a lively soundtrack from an iconic era of music instead! With departure dates all through the year, live DJs and plenty of dance floor space, your cruise will be anything but bland. What’s more, all four Thames boat parties include entry to an after-party at Popworld, so the good times needn’t stop the moment you step onto dry land. There ain’t no party like a Thames boat party!

Super troupers, unite! This ABBA boat party will set sail from Blackfriars Pier, blasting the biggest dance hits from the Swedish pop group. As you travel down the Thames, you’ll also travel back in time to the 70s hey-day of knee-high boots, wide-legged trousers, and sequins galore. Across four hours, expect lively music and breathtaking views of the city. The boat sails on March 26, May 28, July 30, September 24 and November 26 – buy your tickets here.

Are the 80s more your bag? More specifically are George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley your men? If the answer is yes, this Wham! boat party will be right up your street (well, river). The four-hour cruise will blast out the pop duo’s greatest hits like the aforementioned I’m Your Man, Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go and Club Tropicana, letting you to dance the evening away, as you pass London’s landmarks. You’ve got the choice of various dates (and seasons) throughout the year – April 2, June 4, August 6, September 17 and November 19 – so, Do It Right and get your ticket here.

    ABBA Boat Party

Channel your inner Cher Horowitz, or slip on that denim jacket: the 90s are calling. Pumping a playlist of the ultimate throwback tunes, this four-hour cruise will take you along the Thames as you sing your heart out your favourite bangers from 30 years ago (yes, the early 90s were that long ago… outrageous). You’ll have the chance to rediscover long forgotten one-hit-wonders, as well as celebrate the acts who have stood the test of time. This 90s Thames boat party will set sail from Blackfriars Pier on March 12 only; grab your tickets quickly, so you don’t miss out.

    ABBA Boat Party

Forget the Spice World bus, it’s time to board the Spice Girl boat party, instead! Dance the night away onboard a vessel leaving from Blackfriars Pier, blasting four hours of Spice Girls anthems. Top DJs will be spinning their decks as you party away on deck (or in the warmer, covered areas on the winter dates). You’ll be slamming it to the left and shaking it to the right, as you’ll most definitely be having a good time and feeling fine. Tickets are available here for February 12, April 16, May 14, June 11, July 16, August 13, September 10, October 1, November 5 and December 3.
