Ever struggled to find a good sports bra that gives you proper support when you’re working up a sweat? You’re not alone. Studies have shown that not only do nearly 50% of women suffer from movement related breast pain while exercising due to lack of support, but over 90% of women are wearing the wrong size sports bra too.

Thankfully, help is on the horizon. To help tackle these issues and support the needs of active women, adidas has launched a huge new sports bra collection with 43 new styles, catering to more bodies and workouts than ever before. And, to celebrate the great Bra Revolution, we’re working with adidas to host a series of events in their flagship store in Oxford Circus.

Check out the new sports bra collection here and see the Bra Revolution events here.

The sports bras of the future

In the process of re-engineering their sports bra portfolio, adidas worked with researchers from the University of Portsmouth, who uncovered that to avoid potentially damaging skin stretch, supportive sports bras are absolutely vital!

The new adidas collection features bras in an extensive and inclusive size range to help more athletes experience sports without restraint. And each one is specially designed to cater to different exercise needs. Studio bras are ideal for yoga, Pilates and other low-to-mid intensity activity. Train bras will see you through HIIT classes and more intense sport or training, and Run bras offer the highest level of breast support in the collection.

    Fit is everything

While choosing the right style of sports bra is essential, finding the perfect fit is also critical to ensure the sports bra works effectively. You can make use of the complimentary fitting service available at the Oxford Circus flagship and local adidas stores. Or if you can’t make it down to the store in person, use the online bra fitting tool to help you self-measure and find your perfectly fitting style.

Oh, and don’t forget that if you purchase your perfectly fitting bar during one of the flagship events, you’ll also be able to customise it at the free personalisation station!
