Where have you just come back from?

Mallorca. I wanted somewhere where I could easily push a buggy and enjoy that exciting evening buzz. Every year growing up I went to Ravello by the Amalfi Coast as my Aunt lived there. In Ravello, everyone gravitates towards the main square. In Mallorca, there’s a similar atmosphere with everyone veering towards Marina del Port de Sóller. It’s so lovely, everyone sitting outside.

Where in the world have you felt happiest?

Most consistently, London. I’ve lived in Spain, New York, West London and Leeds, but I’m always happy to be back in East London. There’s a community feel that reminds me of my childhood. Nowhere I’ve lived feels as integrated as Hackney. The holiday destination where I’ve felt happiest, though, is Mexico. We stayed in Mexico City and in a beach hut in Tulum. People I knew from London were there; my ex knew some people from New York. We threw this amazing house party, and SZA came (this was before she blew up!). It was all very free and spontaneous. I really enjoyed the food too – especially the fish tacos. Because of my upbringing I feel in tune with Latin cultures, the warmth, the passion, the dancing, the love of food. It just felt like my kind of place.
